This 3d animation is a liquid simulation using Phoenix FD in the Autodesk’s 3DS Max software.
This scene represents how ocean water can travel up land during storm conditions. As the storm worsens the water’s surface will become more turbulent, pushing the waves up the coast causing damage to infrastructure. Once the new barriers are placed the waves cannot travel up far enough that they breach the barriers.
